The congenital absence or acquired loss of vagina is very rare in the incidence. The construction or reconstruction of vagina is much important not only for reproduction and sexual life, but also in social and moral problems. During last decade, various methods have been developed, by which artificial neovagina is created. Although some of them, such as intestinal transplants, simple reconstruction method, continuous pressure method, have been known to be ideal and satisfactory, but they are impractable for wide clinical application. Recently, we performed Mclndoe´s operation- in ,2 cases of vaginal absence, congenital and acquired type and the results were successful.
